MagicPuffer has now released Zero nicotine cartridges in Tobacco Flavor. Initially I did not believe there would be any demand for Zero nicotine, and never included it as a possible refill. However over the last few months many customers have contacted me requesting this – so we’ve listened. Based on demand new flavors may be added in the future. Additionally this week production has been ramped up to replace any items out of stock. All products are now fully back in stock.

Friday, January 8th, 2010Well it could be worst – such as an outright ban. The NJ Assembly Bill (http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2008/Bills/S3500/3053_U1.HTM) adopted Dec 7th 2009 bans e-cigarette use indoors and the sale of e-cigarettes to minors.
Magic Puffer is located in Secaucus, New Jersey and as such the NJ Assembly law applies to our company. However no changes in our business will take place, as we have sold our products only to people who are of the legal smoking age in their state. New Jersey restricts the purchase of Tobacco products to consumers over the age of 19 and thus MagicPuffer sells products to people over 19 who live in New Jersey (18 in most other locations in the US).
E-Cigarettes contain nicotine, are inhaled and look like cigarettes – but that is where the similarity stops. An E-Cigarette does not contain tobacco leaves nor is it burned. Exhaled is a water vapor that looks like smoke.
Magic Puffer welcomes clear regulations on the sale of E-Cigarettes in New Jersey. Based on these regulations of limiting purchases to consumer’s over 19, we feel it is time to release additional flavors for our products. Previously only three Tobacco based flavors were sold because there were no regulations on E-Cigarettes, and we did not want to appear to be marketing to any one younger than smoking age.
MagicPuffer is now offering Camel, Chocolate, Coffee, Dunhill, MaRed, Menthol, Strawberry, and Tobacco as refillable flavors for our Starter Kit. Additional we have released a Menthol flavor for our Disposable E-Cigarette.

Thursday, December 10th, 2009Magic Puffer has released a new product, a disposable E-Cigarette filled with the Red flavor.
So what is a disposable? Well it is exactly what it sounds like. The E-Cigarette is meant to be thrown out when you’re done. The battery is not re-chargeable (one reason for a low price). This product comes with three total cartridges for at most 300 puffs. After internal testing we have found this product to give at least 200 puffs under heavier usage.

The mountain of tests
Wednesday, December 9th, 2009I have tested many different types of e-cigarettes looking for a combination of good packaging, carry case, great taste and an easy drag. In order to put together the Magic Puffer starter kit I tested more than 10 different models. The starter kit had come with a USB charger (for computer geeks), a home charger, as well as a carrying case all in one. Just to be safe I had my wife, in-laws and friends check over the models too.
Here is a sample of some of the products that didn’t make it below. These didn’t make it because they just didn’t taste good, broke too easily or had usability and quality problems.
Another reason for the rounds of tests was to make the Magic Puffer website simple and easy to use. I wanted any product being sold to be compatible with one another for refills, backup atomizers and chargers. I will continue to look for new models, that are high quality and easy to use.
Smokeys E-Cigarette Blog
Monday, December 7th, 2009I am Smokey, CEO of Magic Puffer a company which sells E-Cigarettes. I am 27 years old and have been a smoker since I was 18. I have to say, I love to smoke – a lot – but things in my life have changed a bit. I got married at 26 and with getting older felt it was time to reduce smoking. I found e-cigarettes about 8 months ago and have loved them since. I have been able to save money by not buying cigarettes and my taste and smell has improved.
Some of our users replace smoked tobacco with e-cigarettes completely, other continue to smoke cigarette and sometimes use the e-cigarette to reduce smoking. While its not a smoking cessation device it is a good alternative to smoked tobacco.
I’ve spent months putting together what I feel is the best product on the market and plan to use this blog for updates, new devices, explaining the good and the bad as well as some of my thoughts.
